Socks for someone special

Well, I’ve been knitting up a storm lately – getting my UFO’s completed – finally! 🙂

The big push has been to get a pair of sock finished in 5 days – yep, 5 days.!

You see they are for a very special person in my life – my youngest daughter is turning 21 this weekend.  To celebrate this milestone in her life, I am knitting her ‘Hugs and Kisses’ socks from IK’s Favourite Socks – a book I just adore and want to knit all of them. (So far only 2 pairs – but then I’ve only had it 2 months!).  Guess that rate will slip once summer sets in and the days get longer, and the outdoors calls. Next time I shall post a photo of the completed project and the reaction of the recipient.
